My first 2012 entry!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

So a couple of hours ago I was writing my last 2011 entry and know I'm writing my first 2012 entry. Lol.

Ok so mom prepared our media noche. Meanwhile.. me, dad and my lil bro were outside lighting fireworks and pretending we're soldiers in the Vietnam war. Fire in the hole! We would lit the firecracker slowly then when the fuse starts to spark we would run away, hide, duck and cover our ears. It was fun because one time, the fuse was so so short the firecracker exploded even before we were able to run for our dear lives.

So the clock strikes 12 and it was already 2012. My sister jumped her heart out in the hopes of becoming taller (she's been jumping every new year for the past 19 years of her life but to no avail, she's still short). Meanwhile on the other side of the living room, I was shaking my purse full of coins and paper bills. I'm really hoping that money wouldn't be a problem for me this 2012. My mom was hugging her wallet and my dad was shaking his wallet too. My little brother climb the stairs up to the 4th step and jumped (he also wishes to be taller but he's already tall!) As for my older brother, I didn't notice him.

So we hugged and kissed each other on the cheeks and it was the first time Kuya came to me and tried to kiss me on the cheek. It was sooo awkward we slowly let our cheeks touch..actually our cheeks barely touched. I tried kissing my sister on the cheeks too which was also awkward. We grew up fighting and not intimate with each other so when we decided to grow up and be adults, it was just awkward...like a penguin walking on the beach.

Anyway we welcomed the year 2012 with laughter, joy and overflowing love for one another and it was just awesome. I have the best family anyone could ask for. I'm just simply grateful for what I have right now. I'm not usually this mushy about my family but I really do love them.

I just took these pictures using my phone camera. I didn't expect it to look this good. I'm awesome.

I had fun with these. I was pretending to be a fairy godmother.

2012 please be nice to me! I promise to be good! >___<

My last entry for 2011

My thoughts on this? Nothing. I'm not really excited for 2012.

3 more hours to go before 2012 and I'm on my bed blogging away. I don't know.. I just don't feel any excitement. Well, 2011 was a roller coaster ride for me. A lot has happened and let me tell you the highlights of my 2011.

January: New year, new goals, new things, new mindset and a whole lot of NEWs.
February: *insert ForeverAlone face*
March: The last semester of my fourth year in college has finally ended and summer class was already waving at me. I've met a couple of new awesome friends and it was one of the best summers ever.
April: Holy week as usual and my mom , grandma and sis celebrated their birthdays. Still enjoying summer.
May: Summer classes ended and enjoyed my short so-called "summer vacation". Then I again saw first semester of my fifth year waving at me.Oh another thing, my parents learned that I'm not graduating on March of 2012. I was butchered. *Badum tss*
June: I can't believe I was a 5th year student already.. anyhoo life goes on.
July: The rainy season just started and I started to hate rain especially when you live in a place full of ups and downs (I mean literally).
August: I'm not really sure what I has happened, all I can remember was my cousin celebrated his 25th birthday.
September: Obviously..it was the start of the so-called "ber" months and it started to get cold. The count down for Christmas started too. Oh. More drama.
October: The first semester of my 5th year in college ended and semestral break started to wave at me and I could almost hear it shout my name. Sem break was long and it is the month when I found out I have a nephew. My stupid cousin never told me the first time we met (maybe you're wondering why the meeting, it's a very long story. I just discovered he exists last December..well us, me and my family. Lol) Anyway back to the story my whole family was shocked and wondering why he hid my adooorable nephew from us. Ok next.
November: The second semester of my 5th year in college started and my baby bro celebrated his 13th birthday. I started to get giddy and excited for Christmas.
Decemeber: Finally, December. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AWESOME ME! (Just see my previous entry, it's all about my birthday) There were looots of birthday celebrations too and a loot of parties! Yay!

Anyway to sum it all up, it has been an awesome year for me. Lots of dramas and fun stuff too. I'm still grateful for all the blessings I've received and I thank God for everything!

CIAO. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

I'm gonna party like it's my birthday!

Happy awesome birthday to awesome me! Yay!

So it's my 21st birthday today and I'm writing this at exactly 10:07pm.

I'm 21 years old. I'm 21 years old. I'm 21 years old. I'm 21 years old. I'm 21 years old!!

So my mom told me I was born on a Friday at exactly 1:00am (not that it matters).

Ok so a lot of things is running through my mind right now like how my newly cut bangs is pissing me off, my bra is too tight, my room is a huge mess, my dad is watching a soap opera on TV which I really find annoying (he's watching Nasaan Ka Elisa) ugh, and finally my age. I just grew a year older today and I've realized that I'm not just legal anymore but I'm already an adult! Ugh I could hear my brother yelling "Welcome to adulthood witch!"

Yesterday, I was not really excited for my birthday, but I was expecting a lot of greetings on Facebook. I was already anticipating the number of people who are going to greet me, and as of 10:46pm, 105 people already expressed how grateful they are that I was born in this world. Well..technically maybe only 80% of them really do and the remaining 20% just saw that it's my birthday today.

I was even planning on taking pictures to have some kind of souvenir from the day I turned ADULT. Unfortunately, I only got a pic of the Coke Zero can that I drank today.

I had this during lunch.

Anyway so going back to the birthday greetings as of 11:06pm, 125 people expressed how miserable their lives got since I was born. When I think about it, if those 125 people gave me 100 pesos each instead of greeting me, then I could've been Php12,500 richer by now. My friend Benney said it was a good idea, but I don't think he would give me 100 pesos.

So that's what happened today. I didn't get to wash the dishes today because it's my birthday. It's like my day-off, which is awesome. 50 more minutes and the first day of my 21st year on Earth is finally over.

Ciao awesome 20th year of life. You were mean to me!

I read an old friend's blog and she inspires me to write more.

So I was on Facebook when a friend from Iloilo posted something about her blog winning an award. I got curious so I decided to take a look. I opened it and started reading. After a few minutes I realized I was already reading her 5th entry. She's a cool cat. Her stories are so interesting I easily got hooked. Lol I've known her from my early years of high school and she is what she writes.

I'm just amazed on how she describes her day, how honest and how proud she is of her achievements. She made me laugh a lot even the littlest things amused me. I really recommend her blog for fun-loving people like me who needs a good laugh. Oh btw, she loves caffeine too! Teehee! :)

I've learned that you don't have to be good in grammar or have proper paragraph arrangement to be able to have a blog worth reading, but as long as you deliver the message clearly, then you're good. Thanks Daidai!

If you have time, visit her blog www.theilongga.wordpress.com and I assure you hers is 100x better than my lame blog.

I admit, I once had a crush on a turtle..with a 6-pack.

Ok so one day my friend Kat and I were talking about random things when we ended up talking about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. When she brought up the topic about turtles, she blurted out "You had a crush on a ninja turtle! You told me before!" I was like "He was the turtle with the purple blindfold thingy and his name was Leonardo!" (which later I found out that it was Donatello with the purple mask).

Back when I was a kid, my kuya would call on me when the Ninja Turtles was on. Then there I was so innocent and so crushing on a purple masked turtle running for my dear life just to have a glimpse of him. Omg when I think of it now, I feel so pathetic. Ugh.

The awkward moment when you're pretending to study to avoid chores.

Yea so unfortunately my parents are here with us and tomorrow I have exams. My mom, as usual, is in her "mommy" mode so she's bugging everyone into keeping the house clean. So here I am with my sis avoiding chores by pretending to study for tomorrow's exam. We shut our door close and do our thing, but when mom enters our room we open our books and I minimize the mozilla window and open a word document with lots of words in it so that mom would think I'm studying.
